I wasn’t gonna, but I’m gonna….

If you indulged me and read my previous post, this is for you…

So I wake up this morning with the feeling of dryness under my feet…it felt good…until I walked a few more feet to the bathroom and felt splishy splash even worse on the other side of the house…coming out of my closet, which lead to the garage, which lead to one of the outside water knobs I should not have messed with when I was trying to find the main shut off from the flood the other day, sooo…

“No coffee yet”…my thinking this morning was…wow, all the water ran to the other side of the house…major blonde moment again…

“My after coffee thinking”…When my timed sprinklers came on to water the lawn at midnight last night, it had no where to go, because I shut off the flow…so it blasted it’s water load into my house while I was sleeping…and, I still need to climb under the kitchen sink to see why it is still leaking…I’m about to call my Homeowners Insurance, because I’m just about out of blonde moments…

Besides, I have awesome house guests from Sweden, enough already! We need to film!

Nothing like waking up to the feel of a cold wet slosh under your feet in the morning….fyi: I do not function at all in the AM before I have had my coffee!

So…I splishy splash out to the kitchen and find water gushing from under the sink, so I turn the little valve thingy under there and turn it off…then I turn around to hear it gushing from behind the refrigerator….huh? really? wtf?

So then I run outside to shut off the main valve….the whole meter is gone…huh? OK so then I vaguely remember that the county upgraded and moved it a while back, but where? So I find it and it is this square locked thingy with a small hole in it….ohhhhh now I think I remember they gave me a doohicky thingy to shut it off? So I look and look for it while water is gushing, then decide to ask some neighbors if they have one….they are all asleep or wont answer their door to a frantic looking person. I decide to get a grip on myself and make a pot of coffee while I think this out….I go back under the sink and turn all the knobs till it stopped….I sloshed over to the coffee pot to pour my self a cup…only to fill it with plain water because I forgot to add the coffee….so I brew another…I slosh out of the kitchen and sit here with my warm cup of coffee….think I will slosh in and get another cup then sit here to decide if I should go back to bed and try again….ahhh…shit…now where is my mop?

End of the day update….Oh yes I did…after I got the water shut off under the sink and behind fridge, I went under the covers and went back to sleep, don’t know why except I didn’t want to deal with it, lol!

Woke up and called my home warranty…she said the quickest they could come out is Wednesday…in the meantime, I decide to deal get a flashlight and see that there is still leaking….not an option because I have my Swedish friends here in Florida and they are staying with me…

Soooo I go outside, find where I thought the water meter was missing, it wasn’t, just covered up with grass, but not before I tried breaking into a locked box that I thought was the meter, but was the cable box.

As I am digging out the water meter, a sweet elderly man walks by with his doggie and asks “what are you digging for?” I tell him my house flooded and I was trying to find the shut off valve…btw, of course my water company was closed today too. He showed me the knob on the side of my house…yep, I have lived here for 13yrs and didn’t know that….

Damn, I’m writing a damn novel! Anyway, I went to my neighbors house, explained, she sent her hubby, we went to Home Depot, he installed a new faucet, fixed the valve, and it looks so pretty…makes me want to do more to my kitchen now…lol!

Tomorrow is early to school and “get the water out of my bedroom carpet” day….

Yep, I’m late again with my holiday wishes! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year with friends and family! Mine was spent flopped on the couch with chicken soup, tv, my dog and a bad cold…at least I think it was a cold, it was bad, but I feel better now, minus my swollen eyes…

Although my holidays gave me bad stuff (totaled car and a cold) I still had a wonderful time with my family and friends…I am picking up my new car from my mechanic tomorrow and am looking forward to falling in love with it I have 1 more week of winter break from school, so hopefully I will get some much needed stuff done now

I want to thank all of my new friends who have joined me here on my website, and for all of the sweet e-mails, letters, and gifts!

I will be doing a lot of filming this month, mid Jan. Sven from Sweden will be coming to stay as my house guest, and film with me for a couple of weeks. He is in my videos “Bridgett’s Swedish Exchange Student” and “All Inclusive Vacation”.

I will also have the GG video I recently did with Marina Bay ready soon, now that I am off the couch, lol! Click her pic below to check her out!

I boohoo’d big time after I found out that the insurance company of the girl who plowed my car Christmas Eve was going to total my car instead of fixing it…my car was my prize possession, it was a gift of something I would never own on my own. Call me crazy, but I was in love with my car!
When the insurance company gave me their initial settlement amount of 6200, I was livid…not because my car was worth a lot, only 6k Mercedes Benz S320 long axle), but because I knew I could never find a beauty like it again…I was pulling receipts of every custom thing that was ever done to it, and the original 70k paid for it…ruining my xmas, 4 days without a car, new tires, new brakes, custom wheels, etc….blah blah….I was not letting go! (Corvette owners know what I’m talking about

Sooo….they called me this morning and offered me 9k, I get to keep the custom wheels, pick up the check and call it done…so I jumped! Damn, car accidents at the end of the year seem to pay off…is that why everybody drives stupid this time of year? Hmmmmm…..

My mechanic of a long time knows my new (used) car well, he got the price dropped 500, and I am trading up considering it’s low mileage, very clean, beautiful black leather interior…and giving me a few $ in my pocket to play catch up

Am I crazy for feeling exhausted? lol! I really am whipped after 6 days of dealing with this, so I’m gonna post the pic of my new baby (Mercedes Benz E320), then sit here on my pc and edit a new g/g scene I did with my gf Marina Bay…you are gonna luv it!

I hope everyone has had a peaceful holiday…I will show you my Christmas present in a pic below, argh!!

I am finally on winter break from school for a couple weeks, and it feels so good! I passed my mid-terms last week with an A in computer graphics, and B in drawings & typography…It has been keeping me very busy, but I’m loving it!

I have also been filming a couple times a month, with my very sexy GF Margo Sullivan. We have been shooting for our own sites, and others like Dream Girls, Jerky Girls, and some awesome customs…all with very hot guys and girls!

So, here is a pic of my Christmas present…I was inside enjoying Christmas Eve with my family, when a young 16 yr. old girl plowed into my car and tried to run…she did come back, but that still didn’t make my day…I love my car, and she broke it

My new billing company is in place and my site can accept members again!

Please let me know if you were shorted by the time you paid for with Hughes Billing, I will gladly extend a courtesy pass to you….unlike them, I don’t screw people over….they hit me hard without warning and I’m sure a lot of other people too. I could go on and on about this, but I gotta let it be water under the bridge sometime….besides my teeth are killing me from all the grinding! It’s time to get back to the kind of grinding I like!
